Marketing Data Analyst
Job Description
Primary Duties
The below activities are core to the role, where daily duties, ideas, improvements and innovations should be focused:

Develop an ongoing understanding of marketing technology and the digital industry to inform and support marketing decisions.

Undertake data-led research to inform marketing campaigns and strategic recommendations for clients.

Develop marketing strategies and assist in the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns for Rika clients based on data-derived trends and forecasts.

Provide analysis and expertise to assist in the optimisation of marketing campaigns for Rika clients, regularly monitoring and reporting performance.

Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.

Collaborate with internal teams to optimise performance across traditional and AI tooling.

Identifying ways to improve the customer journey for the client across acquisition, conversions and retention;

Identifying trends across the clients’ digital estate such as user behaviours and campaign performance.

Produce recurring performance reports, delivering valuable insights around the specific campaigns or topic, including content, digital journeys and search. Using analytics tools, you will design, create and automate weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboards and reports as well as meaningful KPIs at all levels, including executive summaries and detailed channel performance reports. Importantly, you will maintain and support data integrity/validation for clients, being able to identify gaps in the current data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.

Effectively respond to ad-hoc report and analysis requests. Effective response will take multiple forms, including sharing historical knowledge, compilation of data from diverse sources and reaching clarification on prioritisation. Some analyses will require advanced analytics reporting to answer deeper business questions.

Conduct customer research and segmentation to help inform marketing direction and strategy.
Secondary Duties

Ensure the successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs, timescales and objectives. This includes maintaining operational systems and processes that support project work and assist in the successful management and delivery of projects.

Clearly and regularly communicate the progress of ongoing projects, tasks and initiatives for which you are responsible to internal and external stakeholders.

Manage client requests for Rika support in completing tasks, resolving issues and to escalate requests to management where required and appropriate in order to ensure continued excellent client relationships and trust.

Attendance at client meetings and workshops where necessary and requested.

Build and maintain strong, positive, long-lasting client relationships that reinforce Rika’s ethos; integrity, honesty, trust, fairness, high quality and an unfailing desire to act in the client’s best interests.

Collaborate with Rika founders, consultants and partners to develop our company presence and identify and grow new business opportunities.

The role of the Marketing Data Analyst is to advise Rika’s team and clients on the efficacy of marketing technology solutions and campaign strategies. The analyst assists with the planning and execution of marketing strategies, tracking and analysing customer data and advising clients on the insights and issues arising from their work.
